Do You Know?

Heartburn and Helicobacter Pylori

I want to start this article with the definition of the terms I will be talking about.
I know most of you know about the subject even more than I do, but a lot of people are still confused and not sure what is what. This article is mostly for these people. I would be more than happy if you find the information useful, regardless of the amount of knowledge you have on the subject.

Acid Reflux, known also as Gastro esophageal Reflux, is a backflow from the stomach irritating the esophagus. Heartburn is the major symptom of acid in the esophagus, characterized by a painful burning sensation/discomfort in the chest behind the breastbone. Urea Breath Test is a test which reports the likelihood of the presence of Helicobacter Pylori in the stomach.

I would like to talk about Helicobacter Pylori.

This is where a lot of people are confused, or don’t know anything about it. They are reading articles, searching for information on how to ease heartburn, what diet to use for acid reflux, natural remedies etc ...

I am not trying to say stop doing what are you doing. I am only recommending that you ask your doctor for the Urea Breath Test. The truth is, if you have Helicobacter Pylori in your stomach, it doesn’t matter what diet or natural remedies you are going to use, it is not going to get rid of the major problem. It will ease the condition, but not fix it.

The good news is that there are products on the market to get rid of Helicobacter Pylori.
In some extreme situations, you will need to repeat the course two, or times.
Your doctor will tell you when you are clear (the test will show this). Don’t jump to any conclusions and grab greasy fried take away food to celebrate your victory over bacteria.

I would recommend you stay away from the food the doctor recommended you stay away from in the first place. Introduce changes slowly and bit by bit. Record change of the condition and most importantly KNOW and STUDY YOURSELF.
Time and your doctor will tell you if it was only Helicobacter Pylori causing you all that discomfort, or if it was a combination of Helicobacter Pylori and Acid Reflux.
